General Return Policy

This return policy applies to all knives.  Sometimes it is difficult to select handmade items based on photographs available online.  Although Enso Forge works hard to ensure that all items sold are exceptional, you may order a knife that does not meet your expectations when you hold it in your hand.  Fit and finish varies from maker to maker and is not considered a defect.  Items to which this policy apply carry a three (3) day inspection period from the date of receipt during which they may be returned in absolute original condition, without having been tested, used, damaged, and/or sharpened.  Knives returned, including packaging, must arrive at Enso Forge in new, resalable, condition.  Knives cannot have been used to cut anything.  Items found to be damaged or used or that have had any exposure to elements that have altered the finish of materials will not be accepted or credited for return or exchange.  No exchanges or returns will be accepted after the three (3) day inspection period.  If returns are deemed as inappropriate, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied.  Inappropriate returns include, but are not limited to, orders that are canceled prior to receipt but after shipment.  Shipping and handling will not be refunded.  When you ship the item(s) back to Enso Forge, please reiterate the reason for your return and wrap the package securely, as you would want to receive it.  Be sure to include the box and foam/felt insert, or any other packaging, if provided.  Please do not simply write “Return to Sender” on the package, as this can cause substantial delay in return, and/or loss of product.  Please contact Enso Forge via e-mail at [email protected] before returning any item(s).  For your protection, Enso Forge recommends that you ship insured USPS mail or insured FedEx.
